Josephine

Josephine is a Japanese raccoon dog (or Tanuki) and the pet of the Arashiyama household. Stated to be the only friend of Ayumu Arashiyama.

In the anime, Josephine makes between-chapter appearances, accompanied with an unrelated quote. Later on, she makes frequent appearances in the actual chapters.
