Sean Obihiro, known as Shun Obihiro (帯広 シュン) is the true identity of Shuryou Gospel. As a child, Sean's parents were killed in an airplane crash. Ostracized by his peers, he decided to strike back at society by forming Gospel. Unbeknownst to him, he was manipulated by Wily the entire time. Sean would eventually change his ways when Lan offers him a hand in friendship. In Battle Chip Challenge, it was revealed that FreezeMan was his original NetNavi. In the manga, he works undercover as Kei Yuki, an extremely bright professor from Ameroupe.

In the Anime:
Shuryou is the leader of the Net Mafia known as 'Gospel'. He takes over the business of Net Crime after Netto and Rockman destroy the World 3 organization. His true identity is concealed behind a disguise, making it near impossible to track him down.

Unlike the games, Shuryou is not in fact Shun on the inside. Rather, this version of Shuryou is actually a robot, controlled by Dr. Wily from the shadows
