Professor Sakuragi

Professor Cerise is a Pokémon Professor who appeared in Pokémon Journeys: The Series. He is the father of Chloe and the professor of the Cerise Laboratory in Vermilion City.

As revealed in Best Friend...Worst Nightmare! (JN011), Professor Cerise met his wife, Talia, when they attended the same high school. After noticing that Talia wasn't drawing anymore, he encouraged her to continue pursuing her dreams to become a comic book artist.
