Aki Ranta

He used to go to college when he was a college student, but it seems that he is not going to college now because of his health. He liked Katri very much and gave her books on literature and mathematics. He reads the trends of the times, anticipates the future of Finland, and teaches Katri the importance of reading and studying. He was also the lifesaver of Katri and Martti, and without his presence the worst case could have happened. He is good at drawing. He was participated in the Finnish independence movement, but was arrested by the police. He later became a newspaper reporter.
