Joachim Ruddle

The commandant of ZAFT's Mahamul base. Because ZAFT is reluctant to escalate the war with a full-scale orbital assault, Ruddle has had great difficulty battling the local Earth Alliance forces, and he hopes that the assistance of the Minerva will at last enable him to break through the Lohengrin Gate and capture the enemy's Gulnahan power plant.
