Julia Rutledge Pendleton

Julia is a snobbish, rich young lady. She and Judy initially does not get along with each other and she would stop at nothing just to reveal Judy's secret background.

However, acquaintance with Judy gradually changes her, Julia becomes Judy and Sally's best friends.

She falls in love with Sallie's older brother, Jimmy, eventually they are betrothed.
