The father of Amuro Ray and former husband of Kamaria Ray. He was an engineer working with the Earth Federation on the V Project, a military armaments plan to create the Federation's first prototype Mobile Suits. Born on Earth Tem took Amuro to Side 7 with him, leaving Kamaria behind of her own free will.
