While her siblings have been blessed with outstanding skills and extremely good looks, middle child Miyako Amasawa is the only ordinary member of her family. With her parents busy working until late every day, Miyako finds herself responsible for the housework and care of her siblings.

Deemed by others as the odd one out and often even excluded from matters by her siblings, Miyako questions her role and importance in the family. However, Miyako finds solace in Seiji Toono, her childhood friend and crush. Through him, she discovers a new perspective on the meaning of family.
