Sonken ( or widely known as Sun Quan ), in this TV series, appears to be a kind-hearted bishounen ( young beautiful man ). After the death of his elder brother, Sonken became the Lord of Go. Despite the fact of him being a leader of the great kingdom, Sonken is pure, caring, and innocent also. In one of the episodes, he said he wished that the sorrow and sadness could be erased. Ryoutou told him that they can't be washed away, but can be accepted. Those phrases prove that, somehow, Sonken is too optimistic.

Unlike his elder brother, Sonsaku, Sonken hates wars and is not capable of any martial arts.
