He is the first Qilin, a first-generation mythical beast, and one of the oldest beasts, born after the creation of Heaven and Earth. He is considered as the “father of mythical beasts”, and responsible for the blessing of mankind and the mortal world. He is the spouse of Yu Qilin, and the father of Sibuxiang.
